HACK your Ramen noodles

I love Ramen noodles; They are fun and so delicious! You don't have to go to some fancy restaurant, Pay a bunch of money for authentic ramen noodles. You can make them at home.

It's easy to make ramen at home and fast! Whenever I"m not in the mood to make up some hot wings, I usually go with ramen.
You can easily take the bagged stuff and improve them.
I feel like many of us are short on money, whether you are a college student, Or just trying to save money here are my favorite things to do with ramen noodles.

  • Try adding some beef, chicken or some meat, Along with some hard boiled eggs; It will give you an extra dose of delicious protein.

Sometimes I won't cook my hard boiled eggs all the way. Instead, I'll leave the insides somewhat runny. This makes my soup taste delicious! In some cases, I'll dump the broth out and eat a rather yolky mess of noodles and vegetables. But I'll let the soup boil the noodles to give it a nice flavor.

  • Add some vegetables. Ramen is very versatile and plain. You can add so much to it, Add vegetables
It will add some vitamins to your meal making you feel better.

Try ONIONS! Cut up some white onion and boil it with your noodles. It will add a wonderful background flavor.

Other things you can add,

  • Seaweed
  • Mushrooms
  • Tofu
  • Cheese
  • Fish
  • Kimichi
  • Miso paste
  • Spam
  • Chicken
Heck throw away the broth packet, and make an alfredo sauce!
Or Marinara, You have a bizarre spaghetti.

How do you like to eat your ramen?

Thank you :) Aww!! That sounds better than plain ramen :(
They need to give prisoners vegetables! and other healthy things to eat, I know they try to save money, but everyone deserves more healthy food!

WoW! This is great for poor people like me!

Good! I'm glad it can help! I've never posted about food before so I was a bit nervous haha

More of a "Ho-Fun" man myself!!!!

OMG that looks so good! How would you make that!

I may post that myself!!

Do it :)

Okay, so I'm a COMPLETE ramen addict. I usually buy Nongshim Shin Noodle Ramyun myself, but am very equal opportunity.

My favorite mix-ins are thin sliced raw beef tenderloin, mushrooms, corn, and bok choi.

Have you ever experimented with making your own broth/noodles before? Every time I try, it just doesn't taste the same.

same! I tried the broth thing and it didn't work.
I LOVE the Nongshim those are the bomb

Mhhhh YAMM YAMM.... looks very delicious, I can really imagine the taste on my tongue and the smell in my nose. Great Hack! Best wishes from Germany

Hehehe Thank you! I love Germany <3

Yes! It doesn't even have to be fancy to be delicious! One of my favorite things when I was a teenager was to cook up some noodles, and throw a bit of ham and some veggies in there, and it was amazing!
Also, if you lack ham and veggies or anything else, simply cook it up, drain it, and drop a knob of butter in there :)

Ohh Butter I didn't think of that! That will help give you energy for the day! I love that you did that as a teenager, I sort of feel like most teens eat them plain.

  • frozen vegetables. easy win

So true!!!!!

For a few years all the kids at school would eat the noodles dry right out of the package with the spice sprinkled on it. Yum, lol.

I LOVE THAT! I still do it sometimes heheh

Thank you

I just love noodles, but it is very import to get good quality noodles if you really want to enjoy a great meal. Noodles can be served with almost anything and is very versatile. Thank for a great post.

I am a big fan of Ramen noodles too. Sometimes I think that if I only had to prepare meals for myself then those meals would probably be Ramen as it is easy peasy to fix. Heat up the noodles and one can be creative in the addition of items to make the noodles into a meal.

Hehehe exactly! It creates totally different flavors too
