Here is the straight up low down on smoked ribs.
If you are reading this, it’s probably not your first rodeo when it comes to ribs. You have likely smoked ribs before using the 3-2-1 (hours) method at 225 degrees. I used this method when I first started smoking ribs and truth be told the ribs were hit or miss.
I went to my local BBQ shop and the pit-master told me to try a higher temp (275 degrees) and I have been smoking them on my GMG pellet smoker ever since and this method produces outstanding ribs every time!
Amazing Ribs is as easy of this:
• Preheat Grill to 275⁰
• Place seasoned ribs on grill for 2 hours (bone down)
• Wrap the ribs in foil, put back on smoker for 1 hour
• Unwrap and place back on the smoker for 30-45 minutes
• Rest for 30 minutes and serve!
Plenty of smoked flavor and easy as can be. I don’t spray with apple juice or anything because I like to keep a stable temp in the smoker. Best part, done in 3.5 hours vs 6 hours!
