Yakitori
Last time I introduced Okonomiyaki as one of the Japanese Soulfoods. Another very important Soulfood is Yakitori. Japanese people go to Yakitori Restaurants in groups and drink alcohol and eat these delicious grilled dishes. Yakitori is great because you have vegetarian and meat dishes.

Basically you can order anything you want for Yakitori, Fish, Chicken, Meat, Vegetables etc. In Japan you get very fresh and fantastic quality of meat so everything tastes incredible. We got some vegetables like tomatoes too, so delicious and juicy tasting!

I'm not sure I would like the chicken hearts, I went to a Brazilian restaurant a few months back and I tried one there and it was awfully chewy. Needless to say I couldn't swallow it and had to spit it back out on to my plate. I would just go with the grilled fish.
Do those grilled garlic gloves not blow your head off? That stuff is pretty potent. Won't be doing any kissing after eating one of those. Lol.

Yakatori was the first Japanese food i ever tried and it lead to me falling in love with the whole culture and people too. My wife is Japanese and we travel there every two years. Tonight we cooked Japanese curry and rice at home. Good to see your living the dream. Enjoy your gyoza and sashimi too.
