[Korean Food Introduction #14] Jjolmyeon

in food •  7 years ago

I am posting at steemit in Korea, and I would like to introduce you Korean food that Koreans enjoy.

This is the 13th introduction to Korean food, and today I will introduce Jjolmyeon.

Jjolmyeon is the name given to the high elasticity of noodles. It is a food that mixes various vegetables and noodles with spicy sauce.

When you come to Korea, you will find a snack bar called "bunsigjeom", where you can eat a variety of foods, such as Jjolmyeon.

◎ Jjolmyeon

Ingredients

: Jjolmyeon noodles, cabbage, cucumber, carrots, boiled eggs, sauce (2 tablespoons of hot pepper paste, 1 tablespoon red pepper powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar or 1.5 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 0.5 tablespoons of garlic, Sesame oil, sesame)

Recipe

01 . Boil Jjolmyeon noodles in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Then wash it in cold water 2 ~ 3 times and prepare it to be sieved. Washing in cold water makes the noodles more elastic.

02 . Prepare vegetable slices.

03 . Mix the sauce beforehand. Please note that sesame oil and sesame will enter later when you make sauce.

04 . Put noodles in a bowl and then put vegetables, sauce, and eggs in order.

Completed dish

To eat Jjolmyeon, you have to mix noodles and vegetables as I mentioned earlier.

After mixing in another bowl, I tried to display again to take a picture.

I like the fresh taste of Jjolmyeon and vegetables. Boiled eggs are also good because it complements nutrients and flavors that are lacking.

If you have not tried Jjolmyeon yet, I recommend you try it when you come to Korea.

Next time I will introduce another Korean food.

Thank you for reading. Have a nice day!!
