Mila loves to make food with me. In fact, it is an ideal opportunity when I work and spend time with a child at the same time. I don’t know about you, but no matter how much time you dedicate to the kids, it’s never enough. But it is definitely more interesting to work with them, if they are in the mood to work :) That is why the sentence from the famous song from the Mary Poppins movie is always on my mind:
In every job that must be done
There is an element of fun
You find the fun and snap!
The job's a game!
But to get back to the recipe. The recipe for the dough is very simple. The dough is fantastic because you don't have to wait for it to rest, you don't have to put it in the fridge. You can immediately roll it out and cover it with topping to your liking.
The measure is a 2dl cup.
3 cups flour
1 cup yogurt
1/2 cup oil
a little salt
half a teaspoon of baking powder
one egg yolk for coating
sesame or flax seeds for sprinkling
Knead the dough from the listed ingredients. Split the dough into ten equal balls. Roll out every ball on a lightly floured surface into a circle. Spread each with pesto or ketchup and sprinkle toppings as desired.
Then grab the ends and slowly connect them (as in the picture) to close the topping.
Be careful not to leave pizzas an opening at the top, because the topping will leak out during baking.
Finally, coat the pizza with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame or flax, or both sesame and flax :)
Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown at 220 degrees Celsius (about 20 minutes).
Although I prepared them with the ingredients I had in the fridge, these mini pizzas were delicious! My children love them. I hope you found this recipe interesting and that you will prepare it:)
Wish you all the best!
With love,
Snežana
