Indian Traditional KANDAN THIPPILLI RASAM or LONG PEPPER RASAM

    Today,I am also given another traditional Indian dish Kandan Thippilli Rasam or Long Pepper Rasam.

    Are you hear before this name.I think no body hear this name.Don't worry I give full information about it.

      This dish is very famous in previous years,but today you don't know about this.It is very health dish.If you have Cold and Cough pls eat this dish ,you feel very nice.

    Before going to dish ,I give some information about long pepper.

     Long Pepper also called Indian Long Pepper.For using this you get more benefits.That are Insomnia that means sleepless ness,Headache, Tooth ache,Heart Problems,Piles and so on.

Now we go to dish

Prepare Time. : 5 minutes

Cooking Time : 15 and cooking dal 15 minutes

Total. :35 minutes

INGREDIENTS. :-

  • Tomato :1 large finally Chopped

  • Tamaring pulp : 2 table spoon

  • To or Dal/Tuvaram paruppu : 1/4 cup cooked dal

  • Turmeric Powder/Manual powder : 1/2 tsp

  • Salt as required

  • Sugar : 1 small table spoon

FOR MAKING MASALA. :-

  • Oil :1 tsp

  • Thippili/Long pepeer : 1 tsp

  • Normal Pepper. : 1 tsp

  • Dry Red Chillies. :2

  • Coriander Seeds/Malli. : 2 tsp

  • Curry leaves : 1tsp chopped

  • Cumin seeds/Jeerakum : 1 tsp

  • Garlic. : 3 Cloves

FOR TEMPERING. :-

  • Oil. : 1 tsp

  • Mustered Seeds / Kaduku : 1 tsp

  • Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu. : 1 tsp

  • Asafoetida/Maya podi. : a pinch

  • Curry leaves : 1 tsp finally chopped

PREPARATION. :-

STEP 1 :-

First take all ingredients above said in a plate like below image.

STEP. 2 :-

 Now you heat 2 tsp of oil in a kadai.Like bellow image.

STEP. 3 :-

 Oil in heat,now completely reduse flame in sim then add thippili,curry leaves,pepper,coriander,and red chillies one by one.Now we fry these ingredients slowly.

STEP. 4 :-

All are roster well,now we add 3 cloves of garlic hear.

Now we wait a minute

STEP. 6 :-

Now we transfer from kadai to a blender.Now wait 5 minutes for heat reduce the ingredients.

STEP. 7 :-

 After 5 minute ,you griend them and at the end add cumin seeds also.

STEP. 8 :-

Now we crush it all ingredients and make fine powder .

STEP. 9 :-

Again we heat a kadai with 2 tps of oil

STEP. 10 :-

On heat the oil very well,hear we add all tempering ingredients that are mustered seeds,urad dal,curry leaves.like in bellow image.

STEP 11 :-

 Hear we wait a minute all are frying well

STEP 12 :-

 In this time we add finally chopped tomatoes and saute it very well.like given image.

STEP. 13 :-

   In this stage we add turmaric powder, salt as required and sugar.

STEP 14 :-

 Hear we fry for 5 minutes like given image

STEP 15. :-

In this stage we add previously ground masala to it and fry all them in 2 minutes.

STEP. 16 :-

  Now we add tamarind pulp to it

Mix well all ingredients

STEP. 17 :-

Add some more water as you required.

In this stage we completely reduce flame and wait they boiling well,like this

STEP. 18 :-

  All this boiling well,in this stage we add cooked dal to it.

Mix them well,and wait all they boiled very well.

STEP 20 :-

Now this is boiled very well.In this stage we taste it all are correct in taste then we turn off heat and serve hot with rice.
