Indian Traditional VARAGU SADAM or KODO MILLET RICE

 Hi,Every one today also I come with very old Indian dish VARAGU SADAM or KODO MILLET RICE.

  I think very few of them know this dish ,don't worry I give all details about it.Before go to the recipe I give some information about this.

    Now a days the samba variety rice is the is the staple rice used to cook lunch. But this variety of rice called Varagu sadam was the one used by the ancient rural people as their staple rice. This rice is said to have nutritional and added health benefits compared to the regular 'samba' rice.
      Off late, people who are health conscious and want to cut down their startch have begun to cook these dishes. It is said that this rice reduces the cholesterol level in the body.
  
   This recipe is very easy to make but it have high nutrients values than others,pls try this

Now we go to the recipe VARAGU SADAM. :-

INGREDIENTS. :-

  • Varagu/KODO millet. :1 cup

  • Water. : 2 cup

  • Salt : as required

PREPARATION. :-

STEP 1 :-

   For this we firsy Wash and weight cook varagu rice with some water and required salt for upto 3 shrieks. Keep fire over medium fire in light of the fact that varagu rice sets aside less opportunity to cook. 

STEP 2 :-

Top notch and solid varagu arisi sadham is prepared. Present with dhal, rasam and vadagam.

Now this varugu SADAM is ready to eat pls enjoy this taste. It has very interesting taste I con't explain in words.pls try and enjoy this. Very nutrition food.
