I have been tasting a various types of crackers across 7 continents. I finally found my favourite one which is Fried EMPING BUMBU.
Today, I really want to share my secret recipe with all Steemian. EMPING BUMBU is made from Melinjo nuts (latin: Gnetum gnemon).
How it's made?
The making and food processing steps of Fried EMPING BUMBU are:
Step 1: the fresh green Melinjo nuts are peeled its shell off until seeds.
Step 2: the seeds are hit or flatten by a clean stainless hammer (Indonesian traditionally hit it by a piece of rock).
Step 3: put a few pieces of flatten seeds together and make it becomes a round shape of a flatten seeds (diameter of 8 cm) on a tray.
Step 4: coating it on both sides with a perfect tasty mixture of seasoning, marinade it in a few hours.
The seasoning ingredients are pepper,chilli,garlic,lime leaves,bay leaf,galangal,lemongrass,vegetable oil,Palm sugar,red shallot,cane sugar and sea salt.
Step 5: Dry it in the Sun for a few days till become Dried EMPING BUMBU
Step 6: Deep fry it with vegetable oil.
Step 7: Enjoy the most delicious and crunchiest Fried EMPING BUMBU.
