This vegetable smoothie I put together is very healthy and tasty. It will leave you wanting more. You can drink it all or store it in the refrigerator for later use. It works fine in the blender. I use a nutribullet since I have one.
You will need:
1 cucumber peeled
1 tomato
6 fresh kale leaves
1 cup baby spinach & spring mix
1 cup carrots
1/2 cup almond milk
fruit (optional) - I added a pear
cayenne and/or black pepper - optional
1 cup ice chips (optional)
Add the vegetables, fruit (optional), spices (optional), ice chips (optional) and almond milk in the blender.
Mix until smooth.
Pour into a glass and serve. You can store the rest in the refrigerator.
