Got leftover proteins you don't know what to do with? If you are a restaurant, you want to turn them into more profit than just throwing them in soups. I have another idea. Why not throw them in tacos?
If the meat is left out in room temperature for a while, I may recomend reheating it back then keep it in a warmer to keep people from getting sick. If you want to serve it cold, you may put it in the fridge to cool after reheating.
The taco picture above consist of diced pickles, onions, tomatoes and spiced chicken. There are two sauces. One is sour cream with lime juice, lemon and salt. The second is with mayo, chili powder, paprika, lemon juice and salt. Garnish with cilantro. Also, feel free to serve with a slice of lime.
The other aditions you can make is either a mixture of avocado and lemon or just make a guac. You can also put in a homemade red onion pickles. A thinly sliced green cabage can also make a nice bulk. Last but not the least, salsa.
Believe me, you can buy premade guacamole and salsa in store so that can cut down your work.
You can be a restaurant trying to make extra profit or just going in to impress your friends. Here is one way to be creative with getting rid of your protein leftover.
This applies to all kinds of protein but be careful with fish leftovers. They tend to become very dry.
