If you travel to portugal, you have to know that here are many popular Portuguese dishes! I choose 10 tradicional and delicious dishes!
1. Posta Mirandesa
This consists of a thick tenderloin beefsteak cooked over a strong fire. SECRET: The meat is sourced from free-range Mirandesa cows, a breed originally from the Trás-os Montes region and found only in Portugal.
Eat with boiled potatoes and peeled greens (or rice). The potatoes are watered with a little of the sauce used in the meat.

2. Cozido à Portuguesa
includes beef, pork, chicken and a variety of pork derivatives such as blood sausages and smoked pork parts. There are also some vegetables thrown in the mix, but one must admit this is a dish for meat lovers.

3. Feijoada à transmontana
It is prepared with red beans or large white beans. Pork ear, muzzle and smoked pork spark. Various types of sausages that, after being cooked, are sauteed. Tomatoes, cabbage, carrots and other condiments. It is usually accompanied by white rice or very dry rice.

4. Bacalhau à Brás

Francesinha is one of the best known typical dishes of the city of Porto (Portugal). It is made with two thick slices of shaped bread, among which is added a beef steak, sausage, mortadella, fresh sausage and cheese.
Afterwards cover with multiple slices of cheese on all sides and goes to the oven until the cheese begins to melt.

6. Arroz de pato

9.Cataplana de Marisco
Cataplana de Marisco, um prato de peixe ou marisco. É considerado um prato clássico do Algarve. Enquanto os ingredientes variam de região para região, o prato sempre inclui peixe branco, frutos do mar, pimentões vermelhos, cebolas e pimentões pequenos. Tudo isso é colocado na cataplana. Comê-lo com pão crocante, arroz ou batatas fritas (batatas fritas).

10. Caldo verde
Caldo verde originated from the Minho province of northern Portugal made with just five ingredients: mashed potato, onion, kale (a type of cabbage), olive oil and a sausage, like chouriço, salpicão or tora (blood sausage). It’s eaten with broa, a type of Portuguese corn bread.
