I started to review my recipe book with my mother and we are trying new recipes to enjoy as a family.
the recipe that we are about to make is of some beans with clams.
It really is not the first time we prepare something with clams but if it is the first time we will do something like that.
So I will leave the ingredients and the procedure. It's super easy .
Ingredients for 4 people .
- 500g of white beans.
- an onion.
- a bay leaf
- a garlic clove .
- two medium tomatoes
- a green paprika
- Four tablespoons of oil.
-250g of clams
-chopped parsley . - Salt.
Process .
Put the beans in soak overnight.
Next, drain them from the soaking water and transfer them to a pan; add half of the onion and bay leaf, cover with cold water and cook over low heat, until tender. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion, garlic, peeled tomatoes; Open the pepper in half and cut it into pieces.
heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion, garlic, tomatoes and pepper and cook stirring frequently.
Wash the clams carefully under the cold water jet, to eliminate the sand dregs, add them to the sofrito and continue cooking until they open
Add them, already opened, along with the sofrito of the beans, come out and let a boil all together.
Finally, sprinkle over the parsley stew and serve
