The 50th birthday cake

And then it was so far. One of our friends turned 50. Everyone knows one. The somewhat quieter friend who does not like to be in the foreground. But that does not mean that you want to let such a beautiful and special thing pass by. And then came the idea for me. A cake because that can’t be missed at a party.
I started with the 5. In this case I opted for mocha-foam cake. This is because you can spray the 5 so beautifully before you start baking it.
I always make the foam bottoms a day before putting the cake together.

Then you have natural make the mocha cream. And then you can put the 5 together. For the last finishing touch I always put it in the fridge for a couple of hours so that it gets a bit harder and you can make it smooth better.

There are of course many different things that you can use for decoration.

Because I still had to transport the cake in this case, I simply opted for nougatine (you can easily make it myself) and put the finishing touches there on the spot.

Then of course came the 0. In this case I chose Swartzwalder Kirch cake. But the most important thing is that you have a solid base where you can cut the zero. I have drawn a 0 on baking paper to use it for cutting. And with a filling between them put together.

And then perhaps the most important thing is coming. Transporting to the destination, then putting the finishing touches with just as much love and pleasure. Then the cake can of course be revealed under the watchful eye of the birthday boy in this case. Positive reactions guaranteed!
