On a hot summer day, would you ... like to eat something simple and very delicious?
It doesn't get any simpler than wrapping a nice piece of ham around a ripe slice of melon and drip some lime juice on it :-)

Ingredients: (4 person appetizer)
1 ripe Melon (cantaloupe, honey or other sweettype melon)
12 Slices of dried ham, like Parma, Crudo or Scwarzwalder, depending on your taste
1 Lime

Cut the melon in quarters. Then each quarter in 3 slices. Cut off the hard shell, by pressing the knife through while the slice stands on the board.
Gently wrap the ham around each slice and add some lime, either directly or as small slices to add yourself. Bon appetit :-)

Brilliant and simple, definitely something to try this summer.

I love cantaloupe. I love ham. I love limes. I think I'll just try them all together. I am going to follow @mandibil and see what else you come up with.

Thanks for stopping by. I put up a post about foods now and then :-)

You are welcome! See you around.
