The saluyot(corchorus oliturius)is a plant that had many benefits to our body.It contains various nutrients such as calcium,iron,protein,vitamin A,C andE.thiamin,riboflavin,niacin,folate,and dietary fibers.
It also contains anthocyanins,alkaloids,terperoids,tannins,flavonoids,cardiac glucosides.
It is usually seen in the yard or in the field and can also be planted if desired.But many of us do not know the nutrients and vitamins of the leaves and the fruits of the sausages.

The leaves of the sausage are rich in fiber that help lower cholesterol,blood pressure,and other heart disease.
It also serves as a cure for headaches, stomach and arthritis.
It helps people with ulcer and experience constipation or diarrhea.
The saxual also helps the people with Jaundice or liver gall bladder.
With its Ethanol extract,it is an effective alternative medicine because it helps to speed up treatment of a person with this condition.

The sausage is rich in vitamin A that help our eyes.
It also helps in the improvement of our skin because it is in vitaminE.
According to researcher's in the early days the leaves of the sauser were used by her cleopatra.
It can be eaten by pregnant and newborn babies,because it contains nutrients that help to make the mother's abundant milk.
