in food •  7 years ago

The earlier people were very creative in using nature. Something that is now considered unimportant was by the ancient people still processed for various needs, including making food.

One of the foods made from basic ingredients that modern people regard as useless is kadedemes.

Kadedemes is a typical Sundanese food made from the main ingredients of cassava leather. Unique and creative is not it?

Unused cassava skin is taken inside which is white or slightly pink. The meat in cassava skin is washed before processing. After washing, the inside is boiled and drained. Once dried, the stew is mixed into the stir-fry seasoning. If you have, kadedemes can be eaten with warm rice and salted fish.
