Again for the next typical Jambi food is a traditional wet cake that has the name Kubang Boyo cake.

Besides known as Kubang Boyo, this cake is also often called with Pak Ipuk cakes, crocodile cakes, crocodile swim cakes, or crocodile cake. Always tucked crocodile in naming this cake. Why? Because this cake has a look similar to the crocodile's back that appears slightly on the surface of the water.

This unique cake is made from a mixture of sticky rice flour with pasta pandanus. Cookie dough is used to wrap stuffing in brown sugar and grated coconut. After the dough is cooked and ready to serve, the previous cake is placed in a container which is then flushed with coconut milk or fla. Kubang Boyo cake has a sweet taste with a legit and chewy cake texture.
