Padang typical cuisine which is next sate lokan. This sate comes from lokan meat. Lokan is the name for sea animal shrimp in the area of Padang. This food is cooked in a way that is not unlike the sate padang in general that is by burning using embers from a firewood stove.
Sate lokan is made of lokan meat that is seasoned with condiment gulai condensed spray on the sate that has been burned until cooked. The fried onion scours make this satay more special.
