For the lactose intolerants or the vegan, some basic dishes seems difficult to reproduce. Here's a recipe for a rose sauce, creamy, tasty but healthy and low fat :).
Ingredients
3/4 cup silk tofu
2 diced tomatoes
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp Earth Balance (or butter if not vegan)
1/4 cup nutritional yeast (or 1/2 cup parmesan if not vegan)
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp parsley
3 tbsp sundried tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Sauté the garlic in the Earth Balance butter. Add the tomates and heat for a couple of minutes.
2. In a food processor, put the tofu and the tomatoes mixture and pulse until smooth.
3. Transfer in the saucepan and add the nutritional yeast, the sundried tomatoes and the seasonnings.
