Recently wanted to treat yourself and loved ones with something tasty and decided to bake this cake, a recipe that I want to share with you.
To date, the cake "wise Jew" I have in the first place among the sweet pastries, it is tastier there is nothing in the world.
I'm sweet in life, even diabetes does not stop me from the temptation to eat something sweet, and therefore try new sweets.
A little about the cake
For the first time I tried the cake with such an unusual name "Wise Jew" a few years ago, taking a sample of a small piece of cake, grams that way 300, in the store "Magnet", where he was listed in the catalog as a product of its own production of this hypermarket.
I liked its appearance, as well as the composition, which was listed on the price tag. The price was also quite affordable, maybe a little above average.
I liked the cake, I found on the Internet a lot of recipes for its preparation, the ingredients needed for it are quite available, so periodically bake it in a few, my favorite options.
Here is one of them
We will need:
- for cakes:
6 chicken eggs;
270 grams of the sahara sand;
225 grams of flour;
50 grams of poppy seeds, ground walnuts and raisins or dried apricots, I personally prefer raisins.
- for the cream:
400 grams of boiled condensed milk;
200 grams of softened butter;
300 grams of sour cream 30% fat.
- for impregnation:
0.2 l syrup made from sugar and water in equal parts;
2 tablespoons of cognac (this is an optional component).
Bake a cake
When prepared all the ingredients, proceed directly to the process of preparing the cake.
Prepare the dough
To the dough for cakes was more air, separate the yolks from the proteins.
Proteins mix with half of sugar, adding a little soda, whisk them to lush peaks.
Whisk the yolks with the remaining sugar, adding a little vanilla so that they become white.
Then again carefully, so as not to knock out the air, mix together whipped egg whites and yolks, while adding them to the pre-sifted flour.
Then the dough is divided into three parts and mix one of them with poppy seeds, the other with nuts, and the third with raisins or dried apricots and mix each part again.
Then proceed to baking cakes
On a buttered form, put our cakes.
Then preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees, where in turn put all three cakes, every minute for 20-25.
Prepare for cake butter cream
To do this, mix condensed milk with softened butter, add sour cream and stir again.
Cook the syrup
In 100 ml of water, add 100 grams of sugar and bring it to a boil. Then, in the cooled syrup, if desired, add cognac.
Proceed directly to the formation of the cake
First, the cooled cakes are impregnated with syrup.
Then coat the cream every cake, put them on top of each other, after which the cream lubricates the top of cake and sides.
Decorate the cake
To do this, the top of the cake can be sprinkled with grated chocolate or nuts or decorate with cream ornament or just pieces of fruit.

The cake is ready. To make the cream a little frozen, it is necessary to put the cake in the refrigerator for about a couple of hours.
