Rujak Pliek Ue

Hello stemian, have you ever heard Pliek Ue?
Pliek Ue is a traditional herb/food from Aceh, made from coconut which is fermented for 7-9 days, dried and then squeezed to reduce oil content in Pliek Ue.
The aceh people use Pliek Ue for cooking spices and rujak spices. This time I will share the recipe how to make rujak seasoning by using pliek ue.

Rujak Salak Pliek Ue
Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg Salak (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • 1 ounce Pliek Ue
  • To taste cayenne pepper
  • Salt taste
  • Adequate Sugar
  • 100 ml Water
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar

How to cultivate
Ulek Chilli, salt, sugar, vinegar and pliek ue. Add water then add the fruit bark to stir well. Then Chill for the spices to sink in the barking, ready to serve.
