In the preparation of Napoleon, it is the dough that is crucial - the thinner and more airy cakes will be, the more delicious the cake will be.

It's very tasty, low-calorie and low-fat cake.

Ingredients.

  • 3 cups flour

  • 200g butter

  • 1 glass of water

  • 1 teaspoon vinegar (9%)

  • 1 egg

Step 1. Preparation of the test.

First of all, melt the butter on the fire.

In a large bowl, add 1 glass of water.

We add 1 egg.

Then we add the melted butter.

Add 1 teaspoon of vinegar.

Add 3 cups of flour.

After 30 minutes, give the dough and roll out each part in a very thin, almost transparent pancake.

Pancakes spread on a hot baking sheet, holes in the dough in order not to rise. I bake in a hot oven at 200 degrees. It is baked very quickly. Here such cakes should be.

Step 2. For the cream we will need:

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 0.5g milk

  • 1 banana

Step 3. Cream preparation.

Add 2 tablespoons flour.

Add 1 cup of sugar and mix.

Add 4 eggs and 0.5g of milk and mix.

I cook on a slow boil to a boil, constantly stirring. You can not go away: the cream burns instantly. As soon as I start boiling, I remove it from the fire.

Here such should be a cream.

Then we take 1 banana and crush it with a fork.

We add the banana to the cream and mix it.

At the end of the preparation of the cream, place the first cake on a separate dish and cover it with plenty of cream. From above cover it with a new cake and again grease it with cream. Repeat the procedure until the cake is completely "assembled", without regretting the cream, as in the end it should be enough. In addition to the cakes themselves, well lubricate also the sides, because the goal is to achieve a good impregnation of the cakes. Leave the cake for 5-6 hours for impregnation.

Cake "Napoleon" - one of the most popular desserts, Russian Soviet milfei. There are several legends about the origin of the cake. Hey @olegas89 had to check out your Napoleon recipe, there's many different recipes for it also, we do the filling different with caramel condensate milk and whipped cream alternating between the layers with the thin pastry, have also tried one with thin spongy layers also.
Might have to try to make your banana custard filling recipe one day.
