We have been preoccupied with a great many things.
Our social media updates have ground to a halt for many a month.
But slowly we are creeping back into the digital realm.

=+=☠️=+=💀=+=☠️Moving house sure did keep us busy. And now spring is sprung there is constant work to do in the garden.
And the cherry on the cake of our busy schedule...
October is our booked out, supper slam of serving real food to hungry hearties!
But we cannot find any helpers.

Spring Lupins. Apparently unphased by being transplanted 10km odd further south towards the mountains.

Rocket Flowers. Great to add to salads along with the leaves.

Germination preperations. This is just a small fraction of the amount of seed we are currently germinating.

We are enjoying our new home and location. The lake is only a 90 second walk away.
==☠️==💀==☠️=========☠️==💀==☠️==
The neighbours gave us some fresh trout they had caught that day. We enjoyed it baked with onions, radish, fresh fennel and oregano, served with a fresh garden salad and slices of organic lemons.

=====☠️=💀=☠️But updates will still be sporadic for some time to come.
So stay safe and warm and well fed.
And remember that real food is what you need.

We moved down the lake a bit to Waitahanui. Right next to the highway so a bit noisy but will be useful when we 'open shop'.

There are always pluses and minuses. I'm sure you'll get used to the noise before too long. We are not too far, as the crow flies, from Wellington airport, and most of the time I don't even notice the planes now.

Where we moved from was right under the northern approach to Taupo Airport. Already miss the planes. :)
