The tradional "Binignit"

in food •  7 years ago

Hey Steemit!

** Today it's good friday here in the Philippines today. It is observed that we do fasting on this holy event. Due to this activity we do not eat heavy meals but you may eat if you want especially the little ones who cannot avoid eating. And because we do not eat the usual heavy meals which is three times a day, we just have some kakanin or the Filipino desserts. One of them is the very popular "binignit" or ginataang halu-halo. Unlike the normal halu-halo this one is cooked along with its different colorful ingredients. **
