I went to a friends house the other day because she wanted me to try a brand new recipe she learned. What she served me looked like the above picture. She called it a "Rainbow Grilled Cheese Sandwich." As I looked at cheese all colors of the rainbow I threw up in my mouth a little.

Who in their right mind wants to eat a grilled cheese sandwich mixed with food dyes?

Rainbow colored foods aren't natural. You want to eat a rainbow? Eat a plate full of grapes, watermelon, oranges, plums, blueberries, etc. That's the kind of rainbow you should be putting in your body. Don't add a bunch of chemicals to a food and call it a delicious dish.

I threw my friends sandwich in the trash and told her to never feed me a rainbow again! She cried a little but I think she learned her lesson. @rainbowllama might be all the colors of the rainbow but I HATE rainbow colored foods filled with chemicals.

I remember reading about rainbow bagels awhile back, that they were this huge success story at one particular bakery in NYC...nothing special about them, just their color palette. I don't know, it doesn't do it for me either, it would make me feel like I'm eating a birthday cake, rather than a bagel or a grilled cheese sandwich. Also, does that sandwich in the picture have SPRINKLES on it? What depraved madman concocted such a monstrosity???

Thanks for commenting. I remember seeing rainbow bagels. They didn't look appetizing. And about the sprinkles....WTF is that about? Who wants to eat sprinkles on a grilled cheese! Absolutely horrible.

@rainbowllama. Sangat enak.
