Nuggets can't get nutritious than this veggie nuggets. I would like to share this recipe, this is very good for breastfeeding moms and to those kids who are picky eaters.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup grated squash (kalabasa)
• 1/2 cup grated carrots
• 1/2 cup chopped malunggay leaves
• 1 egg
• 1 pack seasoning
• salt and pepper to taste
• oil for frying
• breadcrumbs for breading
Procedure
- Mix all the ingredients except oil and breadcrumbs, form the mixture into nuggets.
- Cover the nuggets with breadcrumbs and set aside into the fridge for atleast 20 mins so the nuggets will settle and be harden a bit for easy frying.
- Pre-heat the pan and add cooking oil, when oil is already hot start frying the nuggets. Fry until golden brown and flip the other side.
- Put the cooked nuggets on the paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Ready to eat! You can dip it into a tomato sauce.
