Roasted Chicken Spice Terasi - Traditional Indonesian Recipes

This is a traditional food, grilled chicken spice terasi. The raw material of shrimp paste is made of dried shrimp and crushed until smooth. Grilled chicken that is so characteristic and tasty on the tongue and fit in made lunch or dinner.

Prepare the material a chicken tail in cut 4 and the spices.

Ingredients :

- 1 chicken

- 250 grams of large red chili

- 12 red onion cloves

- 5 cloves of garlic

- 2 segments of turmeric fingers burned with skin then rubbed

- 2 segments of ginger finger

- 1 teaspoon of shrimp paste

- to taste brown sugar

- to taste sugar and salt

- coconut milk

- cooking oil for sauteing


Steps:


1. Prepare chicken, cut into 4 large sections. Sprinkle with lime juice and salt while rubbing it,

                                

Let stand 10 minutes then wash and drain.


2. Prepare spices, puree

                               


3. In a frying pan seasoning until the water is dry (this water because the marinade I blender so watery)

                               

Then add the oil and saute until the seasoning is cooked. Enter shrimp paste, brown sugar, sugar (may skip if you do not like sweet) and salt, mix well.


4. Enter the chicken, mix well and cook until the ripe chicken changes color to brass.

                                


5. Add the coconut milk. Stir well and cook until soft chicken - coconut milk shrink.

                                


6. Correction was great. If it is fit sweet tasteful turn off the fire. Separate chicken from the marinade, burn for a while while sprinkling seasoning, back and forth.
