There aren't many things in life I enjoy more than a Prime Rib Roast. It is an expensive cut of meat but if done right, it's a hell of a meal and the leftovers are dynamite.
There are a few simple steps to follow to make this incredible meal:
Set the roast out of the fridgerator 3 hour prior to cooking so that it hits room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees for 30 minutes prior to inserting the roast.
Completely cost the roast in butter, garlic, and parsley.
Cook the roast for 25 minutes on 500 degrees then leave in the oven with the temp off for 2 hours with the DOOR CLOSED! DONT OPEN THE DOOR AT ALL!
Pull the roast out of the oven and slice and serve!
Follow these directions and you will see a smile like this at the dinner table! Cheers!

have you ever tried injecting your meat? and also cant beat a roast on the BBQ with heat beads. That being said i will try your method :)
