Lotus Root Ribs

Today I share with you a Chinese home-cooked dish: lotus root ribs.

Lotus root ribs, as the name implies, are not real pork ribs. They are made of fried dough sticks and lotus roots.

Lotus root has digestion and diarrhea, appetizing and clearing heat, nourishing and preventing internal bleeding. It is a good nourishing food for women, children and frail patients. And the taste of this dish is very good, I believe that everyone will have a surprise after the trial.

Need to be prepared ingredients

1: lotus root (60 g); 2: fritters (two); 3: green pepper (5 g); 4: red pepper (5 g); 5: garlic (3 g); 6: oyster sauce (4 g); 7: soy sauce (3 g); 8: chicken juice (2 g); 9: white sugar (7 g); 10: salt (2-3 g); 11: vinegar (1 g); 12: corn starch (40 g); 13: vegetable oil (50 ml).

Step:

1: Cut the lotus root and fritters into the shape of a strip;

2: Chopped green pepper, red pepper and garlic;

3: Stuff the cut lotus root into the middle of the fritters, then add the corn starch and some water in the bowl and mix well;

4: Put clear water (100ml), oyster sauce, soy sauce, chicken juice, sugar, salt and vinegar in the bowl and mix well;

5: Pour the vegetable oil into the pot and heat it to 50% heat, then stick the lotus root fritters evenly to the starch juice;

6: Then fry in the pan until the upper and lower colors turn golden yellow, then remove them;

7: Pour the vegetable oil, garlic, green pepper, red pepper, prepared sauce and corn starch juice into the pot, then boil;

8: Pour the fried lotus root fritters into the pan, stir fry for 1 minute on medium heat, and finish.

Matters needing attention: 

1: The shape and size of lotus root and fritters can be decided according to your own preference;

2: When frying the lotus root fritters, be sure to stick the corn starch juice evenly so that they do not spread out;

3: Do not put too much water in the corn starch juice;

4: Lotus root fritters do not need to fry for too long, the color turns golden yellow;

5: How much seasonings are placed according to your liking, the list is for reference only.
