Banosh as cheese for centuries prepared exclusively by men, because the sheep and everything connected with it - it is the male. Hutsuls say: what is served in restaurants or bars, the fact that they cook at home on the stove, call the banosh a sin. After all, the real banosh prepare on fire to smoke and smelled the fire picked up.

I cooked at home on the stove, but it's still delicious.

With 2 good portion Banosh we need:

  • 1.5 cups (200 g) corn grits finely ground (you can take the flour, then the cream or sour cream will need at least as quickly cooked)
  • 500g low-fat sour cream or liquid. Consider, for banosh cream turns sour, if not like, be sure to take the cream
  • Salt
  • Smoked bacon or bacon
  • cheese Brynza (sheep cheese) or goat cheese

How to prepare:

1. Pour sour cream or cream in a cast iron pot and bring to a boil. If necessary, dilute with water.
