Mouth Watering Muskoka Style BBQ

If this home cooked Muskoka Style BBQ doesn't make you hungry and crave the outdoors what will?(Ontario Cottage Country)


This is one of the best things I look forward to in the summer. Not having been home for more than a year I often think what will be the first thing I will eat when I get back. My craving always change but this one no matter where I am or what I am doing will always be right at the top.

Salmon. Gotta have fresh Canadian wild salmon. Marinated to perfection.

Huge piece of Beef prepped with spices bringing out the flavours.

How about Shrimps?

Fresh Organic Tomatoes with Mozzarella Balls in vinegar and oil dressing

Eating outdoors Ribs, Corn on the Cob and Potatoes with the breeze and fresh air

I'm really hungry now and I hope you are too. I've been having a lazy day but I better get outside at some point while the sky is still blue. It's a nice but cold day here in Dalian perfect to take a hike,

Yes, I am hungry now. BBQ is such an interesting food because almost every region across the globe has their special take on it. (I'm from Texas, but I'm not BBQ biased, I promise.)

What kind of "flavours" did you season with?? I'm curious particularly about the salmon, is it sweet or savory? :->

good ol Texas bbq is world famous.

The shrimps are in something like a tomatoe and horse radish marinade.
Steak is some worcestershire sauce and Montreal steak spice.
Ribs not sure but they were slightly sweet and sticky.
Salmon was lightly covered with Terriyaki sauce.

Oh yes, the salmon please!
We got ourselves a barbeque aswell this summer, but since it's just two of us, we have a very tiny one. It's such a nice and relaxing change from standard dinner.

Whats ur favaurite thing to bbq in the summer?
