Middle Eastern Cuisine Review

Today, I stopped at my local middle eastern diner, named 'Amir's Kabob' and located in visalia, California. I've been to largr chain similar diners, but this family owned diner blew away my taste buds. The lamb chops with basmati rice, hummus, pits bread and gre salad are my go to. The veggies are usually what I eat first. They're sautéed with such a flavorful mix. Never overcooked either - very crisp. Next, I go after the hummus and pita bread... they use their own seasoning on the hummus and it gives it such an original taste, especially when the pita bread is nice and flaky yet soft. The salad is ALWAYS FRESH. Nice vinegar seasoning and amazing crispness to the veggies. Now we get to the main course. The lamb chops are never over nor over cooked. Nice and crispy on the outside, while tender on the inside. When you bite into it, you can feel the outer layer crack and taste the luscious flavorful lamb fat that the meat has succumbed to the fat. The succulent meat is complimented rather well with the basmati rice. Not only is basmati rice nice and flavorful, it's quite healthy and a go to for anyone that's diabetic. The lamb meat and fat are all healthy since lamb is known to prevent heart failure or delay it. I recommend this diner to anyone that's planning a trip to central California. The staff is quite friendly quite friendly and always willing to accommodate to your needs. If you're in central California, I highly suggest this diner.
