So today, running around and taking care of things again, mostly around the house, my daughter is feeling a little better today, I thought I should make a soup that is full of energy and not too heavy.
Cauliflower soup and for the main meal basted baked chicken wings.
First I will go through the recipe for the basted chicken wings.
Ingredients:
1 kg of chicken wings
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of Vegeta
2 teaspoons of mild paprika
a pinch or two of pepper
1 tablespoon of garlic herbs
100ml of cooking oil
half a lemon
Step 1
Mix all the ingredients, and pour over your chicken wings, make sure to gently rub it into all the wings.
and let it be for about 30 minutes and then mix it all up and rub it into the meat again prior to baking.
Step 2
Place your baking tray in a preheated oven, at 200 degrees celsius.
Bake for 30 minutes (to maximum 40 minutes) depending on how you like them!
Now for the cauliflower soup.
Ingredients:
1 kg of cauliflower
2 to 3 ltrs of water (to cover the ingredients in the pot)
olive oil
salt
Vegeta
and soup noodles
Step 1
Put your water to boil and prior to it boiling add the salt, Vegety and olive oil.
When the water is boiling then add your cauliflower.
let it cook until the cauliflower is cooked.
Step 2
Strain the cauliflower.
And you have your soup!
You can serve this with a creamy sauce, or a cheese sauce, I didn't because my children are a little sick this past week, but I usually make a sauce to pour over the cauliflower.
