Reading the nutrition facts of a Nutella jar I was shocked about the "formula" or composition of this sweet pleasure:
A portion of 2 tbsp (37g) of product is composed by:
- Fat 11g
- Satured fat 4g
- Sugar 21g
- The rest (cocoa, hazelnuts, milk, etc) 1g
So I decided to do some calculations / graphics with the help of Excel and created the graphic above to illustrate my concern about the unhealthy but successful formula.
Are you kidding me? 37g of product have only 1g of the "real thing" a.k.a. cocoa and hazelnuts.
Some time ago I read one of those very bad internet articles talking about Nutella and they mentioned that this "hazelnut spread with cocoa" had a big ammount of cocoa and hazelnuts but the reality is very different and even terrifying.
