Day 10:) Food Time

People wants to look slimmer, sexier and hotter. People go to gym, do exercise, do yoga and have a diet plan just for the same look or to reduce the midriff or to stay fit. But we are missing on a basic ingredient. Introspect, or ask your smart brain on what element are we missing?

Dr Harald Stossier has famously said: “A well chewed-burger is better for waistline than a badly chewed salad”. You might have guessed where I am pointing to.

In today’s fast paced world, we have scarcity of time and so we eat our food very quickly. In the long run, this habit creates a lots of health issues namely bloating, acid reflux and many more. Most of us know that we need to gnaw our food until it loses its texture. We need to nibble at a slow pace. Still, we devour. We keep on pushing the things until we see any major health issue or any side effect. Basically, we keep on procrastinating to the position till, it becomes necessity for us.

I used to consume swiftly. I have acid reflux though it has decreased a lot. I started to masticate the meal. It takes me more time to have sustenance, but I am healthier and fitter now. There is a saying a fish can’t climb a tree still, we are making our stomach do the task of our teeth.

The process takes time, you won’t see a result the next day. Good things take time and patience. I can assure you about the process as it works fine with me. Still, if you want more surety, you can find lots of scientific research done on our chewing habits.

I earnestly request you to observe at least once, how many times you chew a mouthful.
