Amish Peanut Butter Church Spread Recipe

This is a tasty peanut butter spread that can be used on crackers, bread, fruits and vegetables. This is called Amish Church Spread as it is common in the Amish and Mennonite communities. The peanut butter spread is served at gatherings and is very delicious. Does not need to be refrigerated and can be given as a gift. VIDEO RECIPE below. Enjoy.

Amish Church Spread ~ Peanut Butter Spread Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups brown sugar
1 cup water
2 tbsp. light corn syrup

Combine above ingredients in a medium saucepan and stir. Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and cool completely..

2 cups peanut butter
2 cups marshmallow fluff
1 tsp. maple extract

In a large bowl combine the above cooled mixture, peanut butter, marshmallow and maple extract.
Beat until fluffy.

Store in an air tight container.
Can be put in jars and given as gifts.

Serve with crackers, bread or fruits and veggies.
Enjoy.
