It’s so easy, and the taste is incredibly superior to packaged croutons.

Making them gluten free is as easy as switching to a store bought gluten free bread! If you make your own bread, that would be even better!
Personally, since processed gluten free foods are extremely high in pesticides including glyphosate, I try and limit my exposure to non-organic items such as bread and other foods made with grains.
It’s been like a year and I STILL remember this amazing salad! 😂
The local organic butter lettuce was to die for!!!
It’s much more difficult to find quality food here on the island, let alone organic. We are always a missed boat or two away from having empty grocery store shelves. Sometimes during the winter storms, the ships simply cannot get here and food runs out quickly. It’s very important to have a large supply of food stored at home at all times. Most people here, even when they have very limited incomes, will have shelves of canned goods in a back cupboard somewhere.
I can’t wait until next year, I plan to grow a TONNNNNNN of food here!! I have a pressure canner and a dehydrator, as well as larger freezers. Next winter we shall eat like royalty from our own efforts ❤️
