This is my YouTube video on how to make heath bar chocolate chip blondies. A blondie with the twist of chocolate chips and Heath toffee bar pieces.
Recipe:
Brown sugar (packed): 1 cup (250ml)
Butter (softened): 1/2 cup (125ml)
Eggs: 2
Vanilla: 2 teaspoons (10ml)
All purpose Flour: 1 and1/2 cups (375ml)
Baking Powder: 1 teaspoon (5ml)
Salt: 1/4 teaspoon (1ml)
Milk Chocolate chips: 1/2 cup (125ml)
Heath Toffee Bar pieces: 1/2 cup (125ml)
Procedure: Preheat oven to 350F or 180C.
Use a 13" By 9" pan and butter it lightly.
combine brown sugar and butter and beat
with mixer on medium speed until mixture is
light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat on medium speed
until it is well blended. (Be sure to scrape mixture
down in the middle with a rubber spatula)
Add your flour, baking powder and salt, mixing on
low to incorporate it for a minute. Then mix for 2
minutes on medium speed.
Add your chocolate chips and Heath Toffee Bar pieces
and mix only to incorporate.
Spread batter evenly into your prepared pan.
Bake for 23 to 28 minutes or until they are golden
brown and a toothpick comes out clean after
inserting it in the center.
Remove from oven and score into 32 pieces.
Allow to cool completely then sprinkle the top
with powdered sugar.
