Hello friends of steemit ! , today I want to share with you a recipe for a dessert that brings back many memories of my childhood with my grandmother.
She said "Boflo," (as we know it), but it's called "Panela Cake"
Ingredients:
-1 teaspoon of baking soda
-Vanilla to taste
-1 cup of water
-250 g of papelón or panela
-2 cinnamon sticks
-5 eggs
-400 grams of rising flour
-100 grams of natural butter (the three piglets) or 1/3 cup of oil
-species spikes or scent sticks
Steps:
Put the foil in a pot with the cup of water, the cinnamon sticks and the sweet sticks, this mixture is put on a low heat until all the panela is melted and made like a "melao" or syrup, it is left cool and pass through a sieve.
In a bowl add eggs, butter (or oil), vanilla and whisk everything very well, can be with electric mixer or by hand (my grandmother did it with a wooden pallet).
Add the paper (which we have previously cast) and the flour with the baking soda, mix everything again by hand using the palette preferably.
Pour the mixture into a pre-buttered and floured refillable container
Baked!
It is taken to an oven preferably between soft and moderate 170ºC or 180ºC so that the cake cooks slowly allowing it to grow without problems and finish with a perfect cooking. Once placed in the oven does not open up to 20 minutes later to avoid the risk of lowering suddenly.
I invite you to sweeten your kitchen with this recipe, you will not regret! I hope you like it and enjoy it, as I did,
Buen Provecho!
