Tamal Sotanghon

Hiya Everyone! Tori here! Today, I'll be showcasing Tamal which is a Filipino delicacy. Tamal is somehow similar to the Mexican Tamales wherein it is made out of a doughy exterior. The only difference between the 2 variations is that Tamal uses Rice Flour instead of Masa and it uses Pancit Sotanghon for its filling rather than a meat filling used in Tamales. Filipino Tamal is a bomb of flavor and spices, the pancit sotanghon really elevates this dish because it is somehow unexpected to see noodles in a tamales. Overall, you should try out this dish as a means of exploring Filipino cuisines.
