Fresh-salted cucumbers – a dish of Russian cuisine, the excellent snack capable to add any hot dish. It is tasty to serve fresh-salted cucumbers to fried eggs, boiled potatoes, rice and meat.
Secret of fresh-salted cucumbers: for this purpose, that they turned out crackling and fragrant, it is necessary to add leaves of horse-radish, currant and cherry.
Fresh-salted cucumbers – ingredients:
1,5 kg of cucumbers
5–6 garlic gloves
3–4 buds of clove
4 tablespoons of salt
1–2 leaves of horse-radish
3 leaves of cherry
5–6 leaves of currant
bay leaf
3 branches of fennel
8–10 peas of allspice
2 l of water
Fresh-salted cucumbers – preparation:
Select the necessary quantity of cucumbers, small by the size. Wash up, dry and cut off tips. Garlic is divided into cloves and peeled. Carefully wash up greens.
Lay cucumbers in the pure sterilized can, alternating them greens and garlic. Stack cucumbers vertically.
Add to a pan with water salt, pepper, clove and bay leaf. Put on fire and bring to boiling. Fill in with the boiling brine cucumbers, cover a can with a towel and leave in the warm place.
Next day your fresh-salted cucumbers will be ready.
