in food •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hello steemians,

Ive never used a steemer and thought hmm maybe ill try it out. So I ordered one online at walmart for $20 bucks plus i got a discount for not needing it so soon, so $16 total. I am giving it a test run right now as we speak. Its a 3 tier steemer and im steeming pork chops, chopped potato, and squash all seasoned w a Little bit of everglades seasoning (use sparingly it can be salty). I will update how it comes out but mmm emmm, i cant wait! Sys20170818_221825.jpg20170818_221837.jpg

You can just steem things by putting water in a pan and covering it with a lid. Thats how true chefs do it?
