Hello, all Steemians!  No matter if you have breakfast, lunch or dinner, or you have a crazy tea party and cups are not removed from the tables @opheliafu, please welcome. This delicious steemitsandwich with selfmade LECHO is for you.

Today I want to share with you the recipe, that you can enjoy this wonderful dish during long cold winter.

 The recipe.

1. you will need tomatoes, bell pepper and onions, as much as you want. Of course, it`s better if  they are from your own garden, but if they are from market, it goes too.

2. you need glass jars. I prefer to use small (330ml), to use it at onece,  for me it's more convenient than big ones.

3. some spices on your own taste. I took only garlic and hot pepper, but you can take some more, for exhample  mustard, black pepper, coriander, on your taste.

4.  tomato paste. I like to use it makes the taste of lecho more rich and intense

First step: wash everything. I mean all vegetables and jars.

sterilize jars for 15 minutes, so that they were perfectly clean  While jars are sterilizing , wash, clean and cut vegetables.

I use such a wonderful knife with small teeth.

So, you see that I have bell pepper - 1015 g., tomatoes - 550g

While I was busy with vegetables, all the jars got clean.

Then, cut and clean the bell pepper. You can do it in different ways, it all depends on what do you want them to be in your plate.

Put the pan on low heat.

Put sliced bell peppers in a pan with sunflower or corn oil (I used sunflower oil). Oil should cover the bottom of the pan, I`ve used only 200ml.

Then cut tomatoes.

Also goes in to the pan

stir slowly every 3-5 minutes

after everithing was cut and put in to the pan, add salt and sugar.

These are my proportions, but I always taste if it`s sutable for me. You can edd more or less to YOUR OWN TASTE.

Then cover the pan with a lid, set the timer for 25 minutes. DO NOT FORGET TO STIR!

Meanwhile peel and chop the onion

Add the onions to the rest of the vegetables in 25 minutes

Then peel and chop hot pepper and garlick.

Some words about tomato paste. I try to use BIO  certified. This contains only tomato paste, solt and  vinegar!

Add all this in to the pan, stir, cover the pan with a lid, set the timer for 5 minutes

After that  turn off the heat, add 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar and stir

Put lecho in to the jars. Use the towel to avoid burns!

Then turn jars up side down and leave for a day.

 Aaaaand, behold, everything ready. Enjoy!

In winter you can open a jar with lecho and add it to pasta or potatoes or any other side dish, or put it on the bread.
