Foodie in the Kitchen Series #1 - Chicken Marengo

in food •  8 years ago  (edited)

Chicken Marengo is a fairly easy French dish of chicken, tomatoes, mushrooms and garlic that slowly simmers either in a oven or on the stovetop, giving the chicken a perfect tender finish that is packed with flavor. According to history, Chicken Marengo was a dish that was discovered by Napolean's cook from whatever ingredients he could find, following Napolean's narrow victory at the battle of Marengo.

I eagerly anticipate the Foodie in the Bathroom series, the place where all the foodies much rapidly go after eating my food.

Oh dear! Why would they do that? Too much spice? Food allergy?

Uh . . . well . . . I was not anticipating having to explain, in detail . . . uh . . . ..highly embarrassed face..

Okay then, haha. No need to explain. Thanks for visiting :)

I enjoy a great hot sauce once in awhile. Are you in the US? There is a really good sriracha sauce called FIx Sriracha Hot Sauce, it is absolutely amazing.
