Spicy Bacon and Tomato Pasta

Hello, everyone. Today we are learning about Spicy Bacon and Tomato Pasta
We prepare the ingredients for two people
Ingredients to prepare are: 20 g of sage 1 clove of garlic 1 pepper 1 red onion 8 slices of Italian bacon 3 tomatoes 120 ml of olive oil 25 g of pecorino cheese 5 tablespoons of pasta broth salt and pepper 250 g of pasta
Utensils needed: knife, cutting board, large pan, wooden spatula, large frying pan, kitchen towel, cheese grater

Bring half of the salted water to a boil in a large saucepan. Remove sage leaves from branches, crush garlic, and roughly chop. Cut the peppers, remove the seeds and chop them. Finely dice the onion. Cut the Italian bacon into large slices. Halve and then dice the tomatoes.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sage leaves and sauté for about a minute until the leaves are crispy. Do not burn! Transfer to a plate lined with kitchen towels to dry. Leave the oil in the pan.

In the original pan, sauté the bacon over high heat for about 3 minutes. Then add the garlic, onion and pepper and cook for another 2 minutes over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.

Cook pasta in a pan for about 8 to 10 minutes, refer to package directions for exact time. Grate pecorino cheese.

Meanwhile, sauté the tomatoes for about 5 minutes. Add some pasta broth and two-thirds of the bacon. Drain the pasta and toss it in the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with sage leaves and the rest of the bacon and enjoy!
