Cake karah is a unique food unique Aceh, where the cake is not everyone can make the cake. Here are the ways to make it ;

  • Necessary materials :

    • 250 gr of rice flour
    • 500 gr sugar
    • Right amount of oil
    • 1/2 liter of water
  • Special tools
    Coconut shell with many holes ( cake karah mold )

How to make genuine Acehnese cake ??? :

Before the cake was made, the rice was soaked for 1 night. Then washed until the water is clear, then drain. After that, the rice is pounded with dimples until smooth. Next, the flour is sifted and dried in the sun to dry.
Then the flour is filtered once more and ready to be processed into dough. The next step, mix the flour and sugar and stir well and add water little by little until the dough is flat and thickened. Then put the dough into the pre- prepared mold. Once filled into the dough can be directly in the fry while turning the tin cake circle the frying pan with a thinckness of 1/2 cm.
If it is cooked, remove and drain.
Cake karah Special Aceh is ready to be served.

Kue karah merupakan makanan khas aceh yang unik, dimana kue ini tidak semua orang bisa membuat kue tersebut.
Berikut adalah cara-cara membuatnya ;

  • Bahan yang diperlukan :

    • 250 gr tepung beras
    • 500 gr gula pasir
    • minyak goreng secukupnya
    • 1/2 liter air
  • Alat Khusus :
    Batok kelapa dengan lubang yang banyak ( cetakan kue karah )

Cara membuat kue asli khas Aceh :
Sebelum membuat kue ini, beras direndam terlebih dahulu selama 1 malam. Lalu dicuci bersih sampai airnya jernih, lalu tiriskan. Setelah itu, beras ditumbuk dengan lesung sampai halus. Selanjutnya, tepung diayak dan dijemur sampai kering. Lalu tepung disaring satu kali lagi dan siap diolah menjadi adonan.
Langkah selanjutnya, campur tepung tepung dan gula, lalu aduk sampai rata dan tambah air sedikit demi sedikit hingga adonan rata dan mengental. Lalu masukkan adonan ke dalam cetakan yang sudah disediakan. Setelah diisi kecetakan, adonan bisa langsung digoreng sambil memutar kue karah secara melingkari wajan dengan ketebalan 1/2 cm.
Jika sudah matang, angkat dan tiriskan. Kue karah Asli khas Aceh siap disajikan.
