I love moi moi a lot
Its actually my second favourite after okidi
Its a good food with nutritional content and value
It contents much protein being that beans is used on preparing this
Ingredients for preparing moi moi
- Beans
- Pepper
- Eggs (optional)
- Onions
- crayfish (optional)
- onga (also optional) W1qaa
Method of preparation/ recipe
- Select the beans to remove chaff and stones
- Wash the beans
- Soak the beans for some minutes to peel off
- After which you wash off the peeled surface
- Grind the beans along side with the pepper and crayfish
- pour in the grinded beans into a mortar
- scrub the grinded beans in the mortar
- apply few drops of water bit by bit to make it less thick
- Add the onga to it to give it a better colour but this is optional.
- Then scoop the beans into either small plate, bowl or small white nylon bags
- Pour inside hot water and wait for some minutes to be done
And that is all you need to prepare your local moi moi
