Pumpkin pie with meat 


  • 500 g pumpkin
  • 600 g minced meat (beef and pork)
  • onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 100 grams of cheese
  • 30 - 40 g butter
  • 100 to 200 ml of chicken broth or water
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt, ground black pepper to taste

manufacturing Preheat the oven to 180 °. Wash pumpkin, remove the seeds and bark and cut into thin slices.Mix with salt and pepper. Put in a baking dish. Prepare the tomato sauce. Dice tomatoes. In a pan pour a little oil, put the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper. When boiling, reduce heat and simmer for about 10 - 15 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from heat when the sauce starts to thicken. Do not allow all liquid to evaporate. Flavor with sugar, salt and pepper and stir. Chop Onion and garlic. In a pan pour a little oil and fry the onion until soft. Then add the garlic and fry for another minute. Skillet melt butter and stir with a fork fry the meat with spices. After that, mix with fried onions, garlic and tomato sauce. Pour broth or water and stir again. Evenly spread the meat filling on a pumpkin. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes. Within 5 minutes, sprinkle with grated cheese.
