This is Aceh Traditional Cuisine, Lupis Kuah Tuhe

For those of you who like the traditional food of Aceh is no stranger to lupis.

Lupis is already rarely found, diera modren this traditional cuisine began to revive, it was still crowded who liked it.

This cuisine includes a unique, chewy texture, soft when chewed, tastes sweet and of course addictive.

Lupis is combined with Kuah Tuhe, a triangular dish made from white sticky rice, sugar and coconut milk.

Initial cooking process, glutinous rice is cooked half cooked first, then wrapped in a triangular-shaped young banana leaf.

Then cook again at once with Kuah Tuhe, to make it taste sweeter.

Some lupis are eaten with Candied, part again with Kuah Tuhe. Both are equally good.

This dish is suitable to be enjoyed with a cup of coffee or warm tea. Here are photos of lupis making process. Enjoy.
