I promise I don’t have a hot sauce addiction 🤫 LOL! Okay so my littles wanted some spaghetti, and for myself, I’m not a fan of noodles at night.

So while the fam ate their spaghetti with gluten free noodles.. I steamed a zucchini, cut in half and the center was scooped out, in my cask iron skillet. Really quick and easy! Once the zucchini was tender I removed from heat and added in the meat/sauce. Threw some Parmesan cheese with some hot sauce! Ready to eat!

Ingredients: makes enough for 1

  • 1 zucchini
  • 3-4 TBSP of spaghetti sauce mix
  • salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese
  • sriracha

Directions

  • Cut your zucchini in half long ways, and scoop centers out.
  • Put the zucchini in a skillet with a little bit of water so it’s able to steam. Cover.
  • When the zucchini is tender, remove from heat and add your spaghetti sauce/meat mix to the centers.
  • Top with your favorite toppings! I used Parmesan cheese and sriracha;)

Super simple and easy. Also gluten free!

Yum! Wildbrine makes a probiotic Sriracha that is so good! Great idea here!

I will have to check into that.. never heard of the name! Where do you find yours?
Thanks for the recommendation! :)

My local health food store carries it in the refrigerated case, right next to the Wild brine sauerkraut.

Okay! I'll be sure to check! I found the Wild brine sauerkraut on amazon but didn't have any luck with the sriracha. Not giving up though. Thank you! :)
